Conclusion

Spiti has a lot to offer if we open our minds and hearts to it. Nature can be harsh and unforgiving but at the same time, more nurturing and forgiving than we realize. It is this dichotomy that makes Spiti an interesting place. It is an intersection of old and new, comfortable yet challenging, life-giving yet also strangely desolate. And it fits this description perfectly too. Spiti is all of this at once and yet manages to come out as a whole that just makes sense to your heart.

Why choose van life?

Do you love mountains, beaches, desert-like sand dunes, and green forests? Then, you must be planning to travel after all this lockdown period of Covid-19. But, do you know how to travel safely in such a crisis? A caravan is the safest way to travel by road where you need not book a hotel or eat in a restaurant (cook your own food in it). Also, follow social distancing norms as per guidelines. Moreover, it is a cost-effective medium for you to pack your favourite dishes on board and enjoy at your destination.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveller or have never even left your hometown, road trips can be the most beautiful thing you do in a lifetime. They are adventurous, provide an opportunity to make new friends, and are a great way to explore the world. I know that I’ve made friends with people I would never have spoken to if it weren’t for the fact that we were stuck together on a long journey.

Road trips allow you to travel places that either isn’t meant for public transport or are just plain inconvenient to reach by bus or train. You can go at your own pace, stopping as often as you want, and visit places other forms of transportation don’t allow you to see.

While road trips can be fun activities for all ages, there are some precautions that should be taken before taking children on long car journeys. Road trip games should be created and brought on board to keep them entertained during the journey. It is also important to have activities that will keep them busy when they get bored of the games, such as books and art materials.

One of the major benefits of vacationing in a caravan is that you don’t need to worry about where to spend the night! Most road trips have to be meticulously planned with pit stops at which to spend the night, because, even if you want to drive the entire night, it is often not physically possible or advisable. Driving on highways rarely guarantees you a decent place at which to spend the night; there are sometimes no hotels or motels for hundreds of kilometres on more remote routes. Travelling in a caravan gives you a safe space to be comfortable in 24 x 7; and, of course, you can sleep in it!

Another benefit of RVing is that your vacation will be cheaper than staying in hotels every night. Of course, there are costs associated with maintaining your caravan and travelling by road, but many people find they save money even after all expenses are accounted for.

This is particularly true when you travel further from home and use your caravan as accommodation. There are thousands of campsites around Australia (and around the world) that offer basic facilities such as bathrooms and electricity in exchange for a small fee per person per night. Staying at these sites will cost far less than staying at a hotel.

The great thing about travelling in a caravan is that you have total control over your experience. If you want to take a trip to an unfamiliar place, you can do so without the risk of being exposed to someone else’s lifestyle. You can sanitise your environment and only interact with people when you want to. This freedom allows for a more personalised experience; the comfort of knowing exactly what will happen before it does.

Whether you’re travelling from town to town or city to city, having the freedom of a caravan provides personal safety and enables travel without having to be exposed to outside influences.

In the end, why not just go? Rent yourself a caravan and embark on the road with all of your might. Being away from home will make you appreciate it twice as much when you return. It’s time to join a community. It’s time to do something that changes your life, even if it changes it for only a few weeks at a stretch.
Go live!

Trekking: health-friendly sport or way to strengthen the character?

Trekking: health-friendly sport or way to strengthen the character?

Trekking is a sport that has no age limit. For example, in the Pyrenees you will sometimes find young people who enjoy doing treks but also older people who keep themselves in shape by walking and trekking everyday. To succeed at this experience, it is essential to have all the information about it before embarking on this type of holiday. These are the sites we selected for you to help you have a pleasant holiday, learn everything about trekking, from techniques to special equipment.

The benefits of trekking

Like all physical activities, trekking is beneficial for your health: develop your bones, reduce the risk of osteoporosis, increase your cardiovascular and respiratory capacities, strengthen your immune system, improve your muscular capacity. Not to mention the ventilative quality of fresh air, a change in pace and place promotes the reduction of stress.

Disconnection from everyday life really helps to take a step back from mundane worries and connect with yourself.

Trekking has its specific benefits because the majority of trekkers walk long distances, and/or several days in a row, on sometimes demanding terrain in terms of altitude, with a bag on the back often quite heavy and a pair of poles as a best friend. All these elements contribute to an increase in heart rate which makes it possible to burn more calories per minute than during other sports such as running or swimming.

It's good to walk

The benefits of walking are numerous, but most of them are related to improving your cardiovascular health. Walking is one of the best exercises for building strong bones and muscles and maintaining a healthy weight.

Walking is also a low-impact activity, so it's suitable for all ages, even babies!

If you want to get into the habit of walking regularly, here are some tips on how to make it more fun:

Find a place where you can walk alone or with friends. Look for quiet paths with beautiful scenery and no traffic or other distractions that might keep you from enjoying the walk. Make sure that the path is well-maintained and free of debris, such as broken glass or sharp objects that could cut your feet or ankles. You might also want to avoid walking outside during peak times if there are lots of other people around (such as when school lets out).

Get some new walking shoes! Your feet will thank you later!

" Need a friend? " - Your Trekking Pole

Although the poles can help you walk more comfortably, some people use them for a specific purpose.

Poles are not only for people with reduced physical abilities or balance problems. On the contrary, their use not only allows you to walk longer and with a better position but they will also bring you other things!

They increase the strain on all the muscles of the upper back, shoulders, arms, and forearms. Thus, you tone or even build muscles (depending on the physical level of your trek) on all the upper parts by making sure that your back is always straight whether you're on a slope or a climb.

These poles allow you to have a more balanced workout for the whole body, continuously soliciting the arms, simultaneously with the movements of your legs. This also helps to avoid wrong movements which are later reflected through back pain especially because you have a big back on your back.

Conclusion

In the end, your experience of trekking will heavily rely on you; it will be up to you to decide how far you are willing to go. I think that everyone should go at least once in their life time and they will be glad they did!
