Thailand has over 600 species of mammals, including around 100 species of bats. One of these is the flying fox or fruit bat that can be seen near waterfalls in Khao Yai National Park in central Thailand during their mating season from February to May. Bears are found in Khao Yai National Park where there are regular sightings of Asian black bears and sun bears. Other mammals include tapirs, deer and wild boar.

Thailand has a cuisine that is clearly its own. It combines elements from India and China with native Thai ingredients and, of course, local herbs and spices. The result is a unique blend of flavors, aromas and textures.

North East is a place that captures the attraction of every human being. The beauty of this place, its nature, adventure and beautiful culture attracts tourists from around the world. This is the place where everything is perfect. Whether you are a nature lover, adventure seeker or photographer, North East has a lot to offer to you.

1. Kaziranga National park, Assam

Kaziranga National Park is one of the most famous wildlife parks in India and a major tourist attraction. The park is located in the Golaghat, Nagaon and Karbi Anglong districts of Assam, near the border with Meghalaya.

Kaziranga is home to a large population of wild Asian elephants and the largest population of Great One-horned Rhinoceros in the world. It also has significant populations of tigers, wild water buffalo, swamp deer, barasingha, hog deer and pygmy hog. The park has been declared as a Tiger Reserve under Project Tiger in 1973 and subsequently in 1985 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2. Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh

Tawang is the most northern district in Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated at an altitude of 4,100 metres above sea level and lies on the Indo-Bhutan border. The town of Tawang is most famous for its monastery, which was built by Lama Tsong Khapa on the site where his teacher, the first Panchen Lama resided. Tawang Monastery is responsible for preserving many Tibetan Buddhist scriptures and art works that were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution in China.

The town of Tawang is also known for being one of the few places in India where you can see snowfall every year from November till March. During this time, tourists flock to this place to enjoy snow-related activities like skiing and sledging.

3. Cherrapunji and Mawsynram, Meghalaya

The town of Cherrapunji is one of the wettest places in the world. The average annual rainfall is 12,000 mm (470 in), which has led to its nickname, "the wettest place on Earth". It receives heavy monsoon rains between mid-May and mid-October. The average daily temperature varies from a minimum of 24 °C (75 °F) to a maximum of 30 °C (86 °F).

The town's population of about 3,500 lives in small houses spread out along the steep sides of ravines and chasms, with no roads linking them. The only way to reach Cherrapunji from Guwahati airport is by helicopter or an arduous trek through dense jungle.

The town is also known as Sohra; it was renamed Cherrapunji after independence from British rule. The name "Cherrapunji" means "rocky hill", from Cherra ("rock") and punji ("hill").

4. Majuli, Assam

Majuli is the largest river island in the world. It is located in the Brahmaputra River in Assam, India. Majuli was declared a district in 2016 and a new district headquarters is being constructed at Namboranagaon.

Majuli is known for its rich culture and heritage, its Vaishnavite monasteries, temples and monuments. It is also known as the cultural capital of Assam. The island has been inhabited since prehistoric times by indigenous Assamese communities who have established settlements here over generations. Majuli has been under continuous threat from erosion due to problems of flooding and silting caused by deforestation and soil erosion on one hand and water-logging caused by silt deposition on the other hand, which has resulted in loss of landmass over time (up to 80% of its original size).

5. Shillong, Meghalaya

Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, is a city that has been called "The Scotland of the East". Nestled in the hills of Khasi and Jaintia Hills, it is surrounded by pine forests and misty clouds. The city has a population of about 1 lakh. Shillong is also known as "The City of Pines" due to its large number of pine trees. Shillong is the administrative capital of the state with its own legislative assembly, while Tura acts as the commercial capital.

Shillong was founded in 1864 by David Scott, a British civil servant. In 1874, it became the headquarters of Assam Division (now known as North East Region). The first railway line reached Shillong in 1898 and since then it has become an important rail head in North East India. Since Independence, Meghalaya has been administered by a series of centrally appointed Governors; since 1973 it has had an elected Government led by Chief Ministers who head majority coalitions having minimal outside support from other parties or independents.

World Class Tourism - Dubai

1. Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa, located in Dubai, is the tallest building in the world. It was built by Emaar Properties and opened in 2010. The building stands at 2,717 feet (828 meters) tall, with 163 floors and a total area of 5.4 million square feet. The tower has an atrium that's about the size of a football field!

The building has a number of features that make it unique:

It has more than 1,000 elevators and double-deck elevators that travel at up to 10 meters per second (22 mph). These elevators can carry up to 43 people each — or one Bentley Mulsanne convertible and three passengers.

The building's glass facade uses 10,000 panes of glass for its exterior walls alone!

2. Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

Dubai Aquarium and underwater zoo is considered one of the most visited attractions in Dubai. The aquarium has a variety of marine species from around the world including sharks, crocodiles and jellyfish.

The Dubai Aquarium has over 1 million liters of water filled with over 4,000 fish species from across the world. The aquarium also features a tunnel which allows visitors to get up close to some of the marine life on display.

Visitors can also enjoy a ride on the underwater train through an underwater tunnel at the aquarium which takes you through a shark tank where you can see some of these predators swimming above your head!

3. Global Village Dubai

Global Village Dubai is a world-class entertainment destination that celebrates the diversity and richness of cultures from around the globe. It's home to hundreds of international entertainment attractions, including food, shopping, rides and live shows.

The park has been designed to reflect the traditions and culture of each country it represents. The park's architecture is based on traditional buildings from around the world. Each pavilion features traditional cuisine, music and dance performances by local entertainers and artisans creating beautiful handicrafts.

Global Village Dubai is located in Dubailand, an area dedicated to tourism that includes hotels, amusement parks, retail outlets and residential areas.

4. Dubai Desert Safari

Dubai Desert Safari is one of the most exciting and fun activities in Dubai. It offers a unique experience of exploring the Arabian Desert, which is a great way to relax and recharge your mind away from the hustle bustle of city life.

The Dubai Desert Safari is an open-air safari with a difference. With a fleet of over 100 luxury jeeps, you will be taken on an adventure through the desert on an off-road trail with sand dunes as high as 300 feet.

The safari includes different activities such as camel riding, quad biking, sandboarding, falcon feeding and dinner under the stars at a traditional Bedouin camp. The evening is spent watching live shows by local performers before retiring to your luxury tent for dinner and overnight stay.

5. Bollywood parks

Bollywood Parks Dubai is a theme park with a Bollywood theme, which opened in 2014. The park is located in Dubailand, near the Dubai World Trade Centre. It is owned by Dubai Parks and Resorts, which also operates Motiongate Dubai. The park was designed by Filmcity Studios.

The park has a variety of rides including motion simulators, roller coasters and water rides, as well as live shows featuring Bollywood stars.

The park contains five themed worlds: an Arabian Nights area; a recreation of Mumbai's Marine Drive promenade; an Indian village; a Hollywood-themed area called Dream Street; and a fourth themed world based on the film Pakeezah.

In addition to the main rides and attractions, there are also mini-shows at various points throughout the park.

Dubai is one of the fastest growing metropolises in the world, and what it lacks in history, it can make up for with modern infrastructure and a continuously developing skyline. Dubai, in many ways, has become an international capital of the art world, and everyone should visit that place atleast once in their life.
