Chadar Trek in Ladakh
The Chadar Trek is a unique experience in itself. It is one of the most thrilling trekking routes in Ladakh. The Chadar Trek can be done only during the winter season as it takes place at the Zanskar River which gets freezes and gets covered with thick blanket of snow. During this trek, one can enjoy the canyon shape valleys bestowed with thick blanket of snow.
The Chadar Trek is open only during January- February and it takes about 4 days to complete the trek. This is because the route passes through a frozen river and one has to walk over it without any proper support from either side because there are no ropes or ladders here. One simply has to walk over the frozen river facing various challenges such as getting stuck in between crevices and other obstacles like rocks which might cause an obstacle in your path while crossing over to another side.

Jim Corbett Safari- Uttarakhand
Jim Corbett National Park is a major tourist attraction in India for its exciting wildlife and rich flora and fauna. The park is located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand and has been named after the famous hunter-conservationist Sir Jim Corbett. The park was established in 1936 by the British Raj, but it was only after independence that the park got its status as a tiger reserve.
The park is spread over 13184 sq km area and is home to many endangered species of animals like Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Monkeys etc. The national park also has many different types of birds like eagles, vultures, parrots and peacocks etc.
Tourists can take a jeep safari that would take them around the entire national park. There are different zones in this national park - Dhikala Zone, Bijrani Zone, Sonanadi Zone and Durga Devi Zone - which are divided into different compartments so that the tourists can enjoy their safari in each zone separately without getting disturbed by any other group of tourists or vehicles.
